Primary hepatic angiosarcoma: a retrospective analysis of six cases
Journal of Digestive Diseases, 04/06/2012Duan XF et al.
For the five patients received curative liver resection, the mean follow–up duration was 51.4 months (range 23–84 months) and the overall 1–, 3–, and 5–year survival rate was 100.0%, 80.0% and 40.0%, respectively. One patient who underwent palliative operation died of tumor progression at the 30th day postoperation. Complete surgical resection is the key to improve prognosis for primary hepatic angiosarcoma.
