Primary hepatic angiosarcoma: a retrospective analysis of six cases

Duan XF et al. – For the five patients received curative liver resection, the mean follow–up duration was 51.4 months (range 23–84 months) and the overall 1–, 3–, and 5–year survival rate was 100.0%, 80.0% and 40.0%, respectively. One patient who underwent palliative operation died of tumor progression at the 30th day postoperation. Complete surgical resection is the key to improve prognosis for primary hepatic angiosarcoma.
