| World wide there is considerable under-reporting of occupational diseases. In the Netherlands Occupational Physicians (OPs) are obliged to report every work-related disease, but not everyone does that. Sending reminders and self-efficacy enhancing information to OPs will influence the reporting of at least those OPs that already have the intention to report. If OPs already report occupational diseases it seems like a good idea to keep in close contact with them and reward their notifications by sending them a relevant scientific article on the disease they reported. |
