Kwagyan J et al. – IMT was not statistically different among the risk groups. Endothelial dysfunction assessed by FMD significantly correlates inversely with FRS in AAs. FMD, an index of arterial compliance, appears to be a sensitive and reliable index of cardiovascular disease.
