Smith JF et al. – PD is a clinically and sonographically heterogeneous condition. Sonography is a safe, low–cost, and rapid means of objectively characterizing lesions in this condition. This may help track the evolution of the condition in individual patients and in the future may be useful for tailoring treatment strategies.
