Kishi T et al. – Results from this expanded meta–analysis, which included the authors' own new study, suggest that rs6295 and rs878567 in HTR1A are related to the pathophysiology of mood disorders (MDs), with overlap between major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder. Findings provide additional clues to the underlying biology and treatment targets in MDs.
