Erdinest N et al. – Alpha–linolenic acid (ALA) may serve as a potent anti–inflammatory agent in ocular surface inflammation. The anti–inflammatory effects of ALA are comparable to those of corticosteroids, and are mediated through NF–kB signal transduction.
