Demir HA et al. – Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNSTs) are rare in childhood and have an unfavorable prognosis. Whereas chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy had no promising effect on overall survival rates, complete resection seems to be the most effective treatment for MPNSTs.
