Vuuren PACV et al. – Geriatric otolaryngology practice is limited by a paucity of evidence in the literature and a dearth of practical and relevant tools available to optimize outcomes for older adults. There is scant research that addresses the complex intermingling of otolaryngologic disorders and comorbidities, disease control, and functional status in older adults.
