Yanaga H et al. – The authors' four patients are the first successful cases of regenerative surgery for microtia using cultured ear chondrocytes. The benefits of the technique include minimal surgical invasion, lower donor–site morbidity, lessened chance of immunologic rejection, and implantation stability.
