Mendes RA et al. – A case is presented of a patient suffering from spasmodic torticollis and lateral pterygoid dystonia and currently under treatment with botulinum A toxin (Botox) injections. Botox has emerged as the most effective form of symptomatic treatment for abnormabilities in muscle movement, namely dystonia with oromandibular symptoms.
