Gun BD et al. – The authors report a case of parotid gland myoepithelioma that had intriguing histopathologic features, and the authors discuss the criteria required to establish a diagnosis of malignancy in myoepithelial tumors, with particular emphasis on their biologic behavior. Myoepithelial tumors of the salivary gland are unusual; they account for less than 1% of all salivary gland tumors. Most of the myoepithelial tumors of the salivary gland described in the literature are benign.
