Singh PK – Twenty five cases of primary atrophic rhinitis were the subjects of this study. The disease was confirmed by biopsy and histopathological findings. The age of the patients varied from 14 to 41 years with the maximum incidents between 18 to 30 years. Seventy percent of the patients were female. Placental graft was done bilaterally in each case through a sublabial incision and elivation of the mucoperiosteum in the floor and lateral wall of the nose. After a follow up period of three months the improvement of symptoms and signs were noticed in 88% of 22 patients Three patients were lost to follow up after three months.
