Popli SP et al. - The comparison of the two techniques reveals that the time of operation, loss of blood, incidence of reactionary and secondary haemorrhage and tonsillar tags are less in electrodiathermy than the ordinary method. It is advocated that electrodiathermy may be used much more commonly especially in children in whom the blood loss is to be kept to the minimum.
