Greenhill GA et al. - Suturing is the usual technique for cutaneous wound closure after parotidectomy and gives a satisfactory aesthetic appearance for most patients. The incidence of hypertrophic and keloid scars was 8 and 9, respectively. The technique is simple and safe, and the incidence of hypertrophic and keloid scars within the accepted range for sutures.
