Kaluskar SK et al. - The characteristic clinical attributes of inverted papilloma are a tendency to recur, a capability to destroy surrounding structures, and an association with malignancy. The recurrence rates reported in different studies are highly variable, depending mainly on the type of surgical approach that was used. Endoscopy is the most recent surgical approach.
