Hearing results following intratympanic gentamicin perfusion for Menieres disease
The Journal of Laryngology & Otology, 03/31/09
Kyrodimos E et al. - Intratympanic gentamicin perfusion provides effective control of vertigo in patients with Ménière's disease. However, significant hearing loss may occur immediately after perfusion; therefore, this treatment should be considered only for patients whose hearing has already been affected by the disease.
