Yamin M et al. - Cigarette smoke extract plus dsRNA induces exaggerated epithelial RANTES expression in patients with CRS. Authors propose that an analogous response to cigarette smoke plus viral infection may contribute to acute exacerbations and eosinophilic mucosal inflammation in CRS.
