Deviprasad S et al. - The first neuroendocrine carcinoma of the larynx was reported in 1969 by Goldman et al. This tumor is the most common nonsquamous malignancy in the larynx. The first case of small-cell carcinoma of the paranasal sinuses was reported in the literature in 1965 by Raychowdhuri.
