Heidemann CH et al. - The authors advise that implementation of coblation tonsillectomy is thoroughly planned with sufficient training of surgeons and continuous surveillance of results. If PTH rates comparable to “cold dissections tonsillectomy” cannot be reached intervention has to be done.
