Wani HU et al. – Ejection fraction was significantly lower in extra hepatic portal vein obstruction compared to controls. Extra hepatic portal vein obstruction patients had significantly higher cholesterol levels than in controls and the bile acid levels were also higher in patients than controls although statistically not significant .
