Varela J – Laparoscopy has become a standard approach for adrenal surgery. Additionally, retroperitoneoscopic techniques have also shown to be effective for adrenal removal. It is known that laparoscopic techniques in the morbidly obese may be challenging; therefore, alternative approaches such as the retroperitoneoscopic may prove to be of value in the morbidly obese.
