Magnesium Sulphate as Rescue Haemodynamic Stabilizer During Phaeochromocytoma Excision

Jyothsna et al. – Anaesthetic management for phaeochromocytoma excision is considered to be challenging. Advances in the preoperative preparation and aggressive intraoperative haemodynamic management have considerably reduced the associated morbidity and mortality. In this report the authors describe the role of magnesium sulphate as a rescue haemodynamic stabilizer during phaeochromocytoma excision.
