Khan H et al. – The authors surveyed 205 type 2 diabetic patients with glycated haemoglobin 7.5–10.0% on maximum metformin and sulphonylurea to determine their choice for further glycaemic therapy. Despite physician preference for insulin, most patients prefer additional oral agents over injectables.
