Pang JC et al. – The authors present a case of Killian–Jamieson diverticulum that mimicked a thyroid nodule on sonography, and for which a US–guided fine–needle aspiration was performed. The possibility of Killian–Jamieson diverticulum should be considered when a thyroid nodule is seen adjacent to the esophagus even without US change during/after swallowing.
