Timon C et al. - Minimally invasive video-assisted thyroidectomy is suitable for selected patients undergoing thyroidectomy. Results are encouraging with similar complication rates to conventional thyroidectomy but with superior cosmesis, less postoperative pain, and reduced hospital stay.
