Muir P et al. – Severe thyroid myopathy and rhabdomyolysis may be associated with anatomic susceptibility to Anterior compartment syndrome (ACS), particularly in the presence of concomitant adrenal insufficiency. MRI examination reveals a distinctive appearance of myonecrosis confined to the anterior compartment.
