Laynez A et al. – In a diabetic population undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), the use of an everolimus–eluting stents (EES) compared to paclitaxel–eluting stents (PES) was associated with lower rates of stent thrombosis; but after adjustment the composite r target lesion revascularization (TLR)–major adverse cardiac events (MACE) at 1 year was similar between both stents.
