Tanigawa N et al. – There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of cement leakage between vertebrae with clefts and without clefts. However, cement leakage into the epidural vein was significantly more frequent in vertebrae without clefts and disk leakage was significantly more frequent in vertebrae with clefts.
