Chen CY et al. – It is difficult to repair a flexor digitorum profundus tendon avulsion injury when the avulsed bone fragment is too small to hold a fixation device. The authors present a method to address this problem, using a 1–hole hooked device to hold and fix the avulsed bone fragment and flexor digitorum profundus tendon. This is a simple procedure with fewer complications than traditional techniques.
