Kobayashi N et al. – An 84–year–old man was admitted to hospital with loss of consciousness and shock. The patient had history of partial gastrectomy but no history of hepatobiliary disease. Computed tomography (CT) and laboratory data revealed findings consistent with acute obstructive suppurative cholangitis.
