Chaudhuri Z e al. – An unusual case of traumatic maculopathy following blunt trauma with a sugarcane stick is reported in a 12–year–old boy. An area of parafoveal exudates associated with decrease in visual acuity was observed in the affected eye of the patient. Baseline parameters related to the best–corrected visual acuity, visual fields, fundus photographs, fluorescein angiography, and macular optical coherence tomography were performed and the patient was observed for 6 months with conservative management.
