Brooks A et al. - The authors describe a patient with acute lymphoblastic lymphoma in whom rapid and severe tumor lysis syndrome developed within 10 h of the administration of a single dose of corticosteroid. It is recommended that such patients receive aggressive and frequent laboratory monitoring even in the setting of appropriate prophylaxis.
