Cheema RA et al. - Residual vitreous cortex removal may be beneficial in reducing recurrence of postoperative vitreous hemorrhage following diabetic vitrectomy. Further randomized studies should be performed to evaluate the potential of this surgical technique in preventing postoperative recurrent vitreous hemorrhage following diabetic vitrectomy.
