Lv B et al. - Interestingly, VIP and PACAP block both the migration of c-Rel/p65 and the phosphorylation of p38 and JNK, as demonstrated by Western blot analysis. These data indicate that VIP and PACAP inhibit LPS-induced TF expression in monocytes in vitro and in vivo, confirming these peptides as candidates for the multitarget therapy of septic shock.
