Chowdhury R et al. - Radiology may rank among the new generation of medical subspecialties, being only a century old, but it has undergone exponential growth and now forms a pivotal part of the core diagnostic process of most other specialties. The teaching of radiology has until now been poorly represented in medical school education and has been treated as an adjunct to the core elders such as medicine, surgery, and paediatrics.
