Ramirez-Schrempp D et al. - Bedside ultrasound (BUS) can provide critical information in a rapid and noninvasive manner to the emergency physician. It is widely used in emergency departments throughout the nation. Literature shows that BUS shortens patient stay and increases patient satisfaction.
