Ganesh K – There is an urgent need for medical practitioners to delve into the issue of the patient–physician relationship since this is the bedrock of medical treatment and research. Let physicians take a little more time in talking, in reassuring patients in the old fashioned way, and restore the patient physician–relationship into one of mutual trust and respect amidst all the disintegration of societal exchanges that are witnessed by the patient.
