XenoPort, Inc. announced that it has exercised the option contained in its Development and Commercialization Agreement with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to co–promote and share profits and losses from the potential future sales of Solzira (gabapentin enacarbil) Extended Release Tablets in the United States. Solzira is the subject of a new drug application (NDA) that is under review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a potential treatment for moderate–to–severe primary Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS).
