European Approval for UCB's Cimzia

Europe's drug watchdog has recommended EU approval of UCB's rheumatoid arthritis treatment Cimzia. UCB said that the drug will be made available in the Europe before the end of the year and is now only awaiting marketing authorisation from the EU. Cimzia belongs to a class of drugs that block an inflammatory protein known as a tumour necrosis factor.
