Active Biotech announced that patient enrollment to the Phase II clinical trial for TASQ, a novel compound for the treatment of prostate cancer, is completed after enrollment of 200 patients into the study, according to the clinical protocol. The study is a 2:1 randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind Phase II study of 1 mg/day TASQ versus placebo. The study encompasses symptom-free patients with metastatic, hormone-resistant, prostate cancer.
