TEPR Conference in Limbo, Former Leader Says

The leaders of the Medical Records Institute in Boston have left the organization and will lead mHealth Initiative Inc., an organization launched in early February. Claudia Tessier, who served as vice president at the Medical Records Institute, now is president of mHealth Initiative. The Medical Records Institute last year created the Center for Cell Phone Applications in Healthcare to promote the use of mobile technologies. In early February, the center was re-established under the mHealth Initiative name as an independent, not-for-profit organization.
