Alcon, Inc. (NYSE: ACL), the world's leader in eye care and cataract surgery announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved its +3.0 diopter add power AcrySof(R) IQ ReSTOR(R) IOL. This new lens, which was introduced in many major markets outside the United States earlier this year, is now approved in the U.S. for cataract surgery in patients with presbyopia.
