Valeant Pharmaceuticals announced that it has appointed Dr. Bhaskar Chaudhuri to the position of President, Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, effective March 2009. In this role, Dr. Chaudhuri will assume responsibility for overseeing the Dow Services business, corporate business development activities, the branded generics operations in Mexico and Poland, and will be a member of Valeant's Executive Management Team.
