Genentech, Inc. announced the appointment of Jennifer A. Doudna, Ph.D., to Vice President, Discovery Research. In this newly created position, Doudna will oversee the departments of protein chemistry and structural biology. She will be a member of the small molecule drug discovery senior leadership team and will participate in therapeutic RNA discovery efforts. Doudna will report to Richard Scheller, Executive Vice President, Research and Chief Scientific Officer.
