Merck and Schering-Plough Receive Request for Additional Information from FTC Regarding Proposed Merger Merck and Co., Inc. and Schering-Plough Corporation announced that they each have received a request for additional information from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission with respect to their previously announced proposed merger.
