This site was created to serve as a clearinghouse for information about vitiligo, for both people with vitiligo and the general public. Through research, the National Vitiligo Foundation hopes to find a cause, and eventually, a cure.

This website was created to help vitiligo patients and their families. The AVRF strives to raise awareness, educate, and help patients live with a greater understanding and acceptance of vitiligo. The AVRF encourages higher ethical standards in research, and therefore supports finding a cure through alternatives to animal testing.

Vitiligo Support International is the largest vitiligo organization in the world. Originally created as a grassroots approach to the skin disorder known as vitiligo, Vitiligo Support now promotes awareness and education about vitiligo, provides information and interaction to people living with vitiligo, and works to encourage and support medical research to find better treatments and a cure for vitiligo.
