An influence of cosmetic formula on thermal characteristics and its relationship with the sensation of freshness during application

Ishikubo A et al. – It was shown that the thermal behaviour during application depended on the amount of water, ethanol, moisturizer, fatty alcohol, the kind of polymers and their compositions. It was also found that a parameter consisting of maximum decrement in temperature and initial speed of decreasing temperature showed a good correlation with the tactile feeling of freshness.
