Fabbri E et al. – Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum (PXE) is an autosomal recessive, multisystem disorder affecting connective tissues. The authors describe three cases of the acquired PXE–like syndrome that often occurs in association with hemolytic anemias, in particular the hemoglobinopathies.
