Kim JS et al. - A percutaneous endoscopic interlaminar approach was used to remove the cyst, achieving complete decompression of the nerve root. The symptoms were relieved and the patient was discharged the next day. A percutaneous endoscopic interlaminar approach using a side-firing Ho:YAG laser appears to be a suitable alternative treatment for selected patients with lumbar discal cysts.
